The great minds at NBC in charge of guarding the news hen house have in their infinite wisdom decided that the key to re-tooling Meet The Press, a show that lost its ratings, viewership and reputation due to the vapid inadequacy of its previous host, is to treble the component of vapid inadequacy.
Today we learn to our collective horror that someone took that phrase "re-tool" a tad too seriously and that new host Chuck "It's Not My Job" Todd will be joined on a regular basis by . . . . . . . . . .
Luke Russert and Joe Scarborough!
No, it's not a joke although many had already joked about this unthinkable and inconceivable possibility when Todd was picked as host in the first place. A lot of comments were made along the lines of "It could have been worse, they could have chosen Joe Scarborough" or "At least they didn't pick Little Luke".
