Tonight voters in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island go to the polls for state and federal party primaries, while New York will hold a primary for state-level offices only (the federal primary was in June). Delaware is also up, but there isn't much to see there.
Our guide to the key races can be found here. Polls start to close in New Hampshire at 7 PM ET, and we'll be bringing you tonight's results as they come in. You can keep track of the winners just below.
Results & Poll Closing Times (all times Eastern):
6:07 PM PT: RI-Gov: Via WPRI, 57 reporting statewide and Raimondo still up 42-29. About 19 percent of Providence is in and it's not doing enough for Taveras, who is at 27 percent statewide. This is looking over. On the GOP side Fund leads Block 55-45.
6:10 PM PT: MA-06 13 percent in and Moulton leads Tierney 49-43. Tierney is leading in a few towns, and Salem is all out. Tierney is from Salem and it's a large city here, so it could help him narrow the gap.
6:12 PM PT: MA-Gov: About a quarter reporting and Coakley leads Grossman 41-36, a bit better than she's been doing most of the night. What's helping her is Boston: About a quarter of the city is in, and she leads 45-36 there.
6:14 PM PT: RI-Gov: 70 percent in and Raimondo still leads 42-28. Hard to see this not being called for her soon. On the GOP side Fung maintains his 55-45 lead.
6:20 PM PT: MA-06: We're getting multiple reports from trustworthy sources that Tierney is conceding.
6:22 PM PT: RI-Gov: WPRI has called the GOP primary for Allan Fung. Will have uphill but not hopeless climb in this very blue state.
6:27 PM PT: MA-06: Tierney has in fact conceded to Seth Moulton. Moulton will be the favorite but not a sure thing in November in this 55-45 Obama seat. The GOP is fielding Richard Tisei, who came close here in 2012 against Tierney.
Tierney's loss means four House members have been unseated this year in primaries. That's about the normal amount in a non-redistricting year.
6:28 PM PT: RI-Gov: WPRI gives Raimondo the checkmark. Will be favored in this blue state.
6:30 PM PT: MA-Gov: After an early scare, Coakley looks like she has this. 41 percent is in and she leads 43-36. This is still considerably smaller than the polls predicted.
6:33 PM PT: The liveblog continues here.
