Hi venthooligans, how was your weekend?
I spent all day Saturday at the fabulous Castro Theater, travelling in time through the magic of the SF Silent Film Festival. The day started wonderfully with Laurel & Hardy. I wish I could begin every day with that much laughter. And I never before noticed how much our craigyferg looks like Stan Laurel. It explains a lot. Another festival highlight: a program of short films from 1914 England, that included a delightful face-pulling contestant. We should have more of those.
Sunday I took care of some business with a couple of my sibs, and spent some time with my mom, who had walked into a door (truly!) and banged up her head and face. She looked awful. I topped off my weekend by losing my cell phone. I do believe I left it on top of my car and drove off. The stress level continues high.
Tonight Craig's guests are actors, Bill Hader and Scott Bakula.
Here's an excellent interview with Craig you must read! about the new game show. It debuted today and you can see a bunch of clips and interviews and stuff on the show website -- here's the link and more -- there's a purple button on the right where you can find out if it's airing in your area and it looks like I can see it on tv this weekend! It looks like a fun waste of time.
Aaaand here's what you may have missed last Friday
