There's momentum in Georgia. A new poll by InsiderAdvantage finds the Governor's race tied up at Carter 43.4 vs Deal 43.7. That's a four point swing for Carter.
“[Carter] has 32% of the white vote in our survey. That reaches the magic number that Democrats have failed to receive in recent statewide races.
And Michelle Nunn is within the margin of error at 43 to 47. That's a 6 point swing.
“A key to this was the Perdue ad made by his campaign, using a leaked Nunn campaign memo. Perdue’s ad suggested that the non-profit Nunn ran aided terrorists. The ad appears to have blown up on the Perdue campaign. Nunn’s forceful ad answering the charges appears to be moving female voters.
“Of more concern to Perdue should be Nunn’s relatively strong position with male voters. And like Carter, her percent of white respondents favoring her is rising.
Forgetting polls and pundits, we have
a clear path to victory. 50 more votes per precinct than 2010, and we win.
Georgia's Republican Secretary of State is accused of holding up tens of thousands of voter registrations, with the early voting period quickly approaching on Oct 13. He knows,
Democrats are working hard...registering all these minority voters that are out there and others that are sitting on the sidelines, if they can do that, they can win these elections in November.
This is the last weekend to register voters. Register to vote online by October 6th through MyGAVote.com
