Smarmy.
Here we go again with Scott Brown and the
too-much-information thing.
In an effort to defend his record on supporting women's access to contraceptives, Scott Brown has potentially shared more information than any single voter wants to know.
"To think that I don't support women's rights and ability to get contraception is just a false premise," Brown said during a Monday debate with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH). "I have since I was 18 years old."
Okay, then. Whenever Brown is confronted with something in his record that is clearly anti-woman—in this case his
vote for the Blunt amendment that would repeal the contraception mandate in Obamacare—this is his fallback.
He has women in his family, some of his best friends are women, blah, blah, blah. But when it comes to making policy choices for all the women who he doesn't know personally, he pretty much sucks.
And no, we don't want to know why he was thinking about birth control when he was 18. That wasn't the question.
