Letter to editor recently submitted to Louisville Courier Journal and Lexington Herald that I hope my fellow Daily Kos readers won't mind me sharing here.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Dear editor, I’m hoping as the 2014 elections near my fellow Kentucky voters will look to the future and choose Alison Grimes and not look to the past which her opponent represents.
Her opponent frequently spends his time and taxpayer dollars bashing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid instead of spending his time and our money bringing the jobs of the future to Kentucky, which Senator Reid recently did by leading the effort to bring the largest battery factory in the world to his state. Secretary Grimes’ opponent continues to look backwards to industries that are slowing instead of looking forward to industries that are growing.
Kentucky’s future rest largely in the hands of the state’s voters on November 4th. The choice is simple, vote for someone who’s planning for and focusing on our state’s future or vote for someone who doesn’t seem to even be aware of what is going on currently and certainly no vision for the future.
