My wife has a terminal brain cancer. Glibostoma Malforme. I found that out on Sep 30 2013 when I found her in her chair completely covered by her own urine, feces, vomit and totally non-responsive. I was 44 and she was 46.
After an emergency surgery which removed nearly a quarter of her brain, she spent about a month in either the hospital or a nursing home.
For about 8 months, I followed her around the house. I was either cooking for her, cleaning up her urine, feces or vomit, taking care of the household, etc. We have a 13 year old son who is in the autistic spectrum, but he's easy. He's doing well at school, in the grade for his age, and is a well-mannered, nice kid.
About 2 months ago, my wife started to do extremely well. She knew the kitchen appliances, was able to get our son off to school, was cleaning around the house, etc.
So, last month, I figured I could get a job. I did, and it's a pretty good job. The work's not bad, the pay is good for where I am currently living and I enjoy the people with whom I work.
The past week, she has started to go downhill quickly. Kitchen appliances are a bit of a mystery to her. Housework is no longer being done by her (no big deal). Getting our son off to school is again my job. TV, which has been her primary source of entertainment since this began, is now becoming hit or miss. (She's currently watching the weather channel with the sound off, for 2 hours).
I've got to find a way to be home with her, watching her at all times. Taking care of our son and the household.
I'm in a tiny town of about 800 people. I NEED to make money from home,
