Jason is running a two-cycle campaign, building the Democratic base for 2014 and 2016. No matter what happens, he is in this for the win. Let's make that win in 2014!
Incumbent Dave Reichert (R) says he will use this as a springboard to a run for Washington state governor. This will stop him in his tracks and be a blow to the GOP.
This is a swing district where you can make a BIG difference.
Jason is a candidate who deserves our support and now is the time to join in the push to the finish line. This district is a purple district balanced between Republicans and Democrats. President Obama won here twice. Washington state voters have the ballots in their hands! All we need is to contact Democrats and ask them to mail them in.

Jason calls out Reichert
Jason Ritchie calls out Congressman Dave Reichert (seated just a few feet away) on the government shutdown and his campaign's refusal to hold a debate. This recording is from the Auburn Chamber of Commerce's Candidate Meet and Greet, held on October 21st. Despite the Ritchie campaign pushing for a debate for over two months, this was the first time the candidates had even been in the same room since the primary in August. Five minutes after Jason spoke, Congressman Reichert left the event.
Jason is a progressive on all the issues including his stand on education, infrastructure, equal pay, energy, job creation/small business growth, social security/Medicare, organized labor and the minimum wage. President Obama is doing all he can with Executive Orders. Think of what he could do with more Democrats with these progressive beliefs and convictions in the House!
