WUWT has a guest post with the headline "winter comes a month early in Kazakhstan and other northern regions," and a featured video predicting a 30-year cooling trend and impending ice age due to solar cycles. The five-minute video is mostly about crop yields and how the cold and early snow is leading to crop losses, particularly in central Asia.
Of course, the comments take this bit of news to its (il)logical conclusion: cold weather in central Asia must mean no warming, global or otherwise.
This is particularly interesting considering the day before WUWT published its post, Nature Geoscience published a paper that shows how melting sea-ice in the Arctic has made the occurrence of a cold winter across central Asia twice as likely!
