I have an assortment of tabs open here to articles that might possibly warrant a diary. I also have home repairs, doctors appointments and a ton of postal mail. I have decided to just post about all of them here, below the orange coprolite, and clear those tabs.

The Human from before time began. Worse yet, it loks like humans and Neanderthals were aardvarking it up some 45,000 years ago here and the percentage of Neanderthal DNA in many modern people is pretty much unchanged since then.

Finally, remember when certain religious groups had a fit when they were told they couldn't both have special status as Campus Organizations and discriminate against gays at Hastings? Uh, the Cal State schools, like the U of California has to require such organizations to be non-discriminatory by law. It isn't just groups desiring to be homophobes, but religionists desiring to discriminate against those not of their religion. One exception was one enumerated Muslim group, which doesn't see a need to discriminate unlike the xtian group raising a major fuss which does. Ah well, article is here.
