Last month we had the pleasure of broadcasting a panel discussion hosted by the National Education Assocation and its new president Lily Eskelsen García on how we can close the gender leadership gap in America. The event was hosted superbly by the NEA's own Michelle Hudgins and featured educators from all over the world, from Wasilla, Alaska (seriously!) to Belgium, presenting their findings and taking questions from the audience.
It was an honor for us to work with NEA on this project. NEA.org has all the information you need to help continue this crucial discussion. As President García said, "Leadership isn't a class that you take. It's how you live and breathe. Girls' leadership in the classroom must be natural."
