This is an enormous victory for BDS. The Student Government now has great leverage with the university's governing body to effect an actual divestment of investments in the stocks of the companies named. As this happens more and more often across the country, there will be greater pressure on Netanyahu's government to end the occupation of Palestinian land and the mistreatment of the indigenous people there.
