Wisconsin is an angry state. I have mingled with plenty of Western Wisconsin Duck Dynasty dressed dandies (a recent Grand Wizard of the KKK lives in NW Wisconsin). There are rumors of multiple KKK camps in South Western Wisconsin, too. By all means, I am not saying all Wisconsinites are mean-spirited, but apparently there are too many cranks there still voting for the ALEC agenda. The majority of those that vote are cranks.
Wisconsin encapsulates a wonderful tipping point if you are politically active billionares like the Koch brothers or Sheldon Adelson.
As the robber barons crush the working class, the over-worked saps become more bitter, so they vote more republican puppets in office that continue chopping away at the middle class. This makes the poor-angry working stiffs even more angry at the "welfare moms," and on and on. The old adage about the condition that exists in Wisconsin today fits: A lobster cage does not need a cover because if a lobster tries to climb out, it will be pulled back down by the others. The jealous, petty tea-baggers want everyone to suffer as much as they are.
The soul-less company-men republicans have entered a stage in the decline of America's working class that is their virtuos cycle. Ironically, we will continue to sink simply because we are sinking - Reagan's conservative movement has reached a point where bitter-lowly workers are in the majority and are feeding on teachers and union members: a Koch Brother's fantasy. Wisconsin is the first blue-state to meltdown. Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Minnesota are in the Koch's crosshairs. Minnesota nearly fell with Wisconsin as they narrowly dodged a bullet by electing the great progressive Governor Dayton (D). Governor Dayton won his first term by a mere 0.5 percent over a jackal named Tom Emmer.
The swirling toilet will continue to consume the waste (the working class) until a radical change arrives...
If Hillary becomes the next "Change you can believe in," we better have a written contract of her plans, not lofty rhetoric of "hope and change." Examples: What does she think the minimum wage should be and when will she push hard for an increase? Will she push equally hard for the Employee Free Choice Act to increase union membership? Will she expand Social Security and by how much? Will she tax the pigs much heavier? Will she direct more money into the Affordable Care Act to make it live up to its name?
If we cannot elect a true progressive, HRC or not, will Wisconsin be the canary in the coal mine? Have we reached the tipping point of an extinct middle-class? We need a strong national progressive leader with a clear message that all Democrats can rally around.
These are serious questions she must answer clearly and consisely. We gave President Obama a pass but as George Bush said, "Fool me once, uh, er, shame on.. shame on you. Fool me, duh.. you can't get fooled again."
By the way voters, can you please drag yourselves away from the NFL, video games, People Magazine, reality TV, and binge-movie watching until we oust the republicans? After the midterms, the Koch brothers have the middle-class grave dug down to 5'11"- about an inch from being six-feet under. One more loss for the middle-class and the Kochs will hire minimum-wage tea-baggers to shovel the dirt back in the grave.
