Bruising
Remember one of the many "
leaks" that alleged that Brown's punches were so severe that Darren Wilson suffered an orbital socket fracture?
Here is this gem:
Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Mo., police officer whose fatal shooting of Michael Brown touched off more than a week of demonstrations, suffered severe facial injuries including a bone fracture near one eye and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun, a source close to the department's top brass told FoxNews.com.
“The Assistant (Police) Chief took him to the hospital, his face all swollen on one side,” said the insider. “He was beaten very severely.”
Geez, all the pictures show is some very mild bruising indicating a tussle(which again , very few denied once more facts came in). But fear of life type attack? If they could exaggerate that early on, can we put it past the cops that even this minor bruising could have been done after the fact? Just like Dorian Johnson is fair game for exaggerating the gentle giant bit which put the rest of his account under the microscope, why are the cops given so much benefit of doubt that they could not fabricate even this minor bruising?
By the way, I don't let Michael Brown off the hook. I was one of the early guys here to ask for a behind the scenes vetting of Dorian Johnson and his gentle giant talking point. so I am not shocked by these pictures. Also , like many others here, I called bullshit oin the orbital socket fracture rumors. And these pictures show how insidious the information leaks by the local authorities were.
Here is the link to the slate articleshowing the pics.
Wilson is a liar and got away with murder. I don't care if Brown is no gentle giant or no angel. He was unarmed. He was shot. And this 6' 5" cop is scared so much that he couldn't risk shooting to injure?
Remember this cop is supposed to be as tall as or taller than Brown. If this guy is truthful, then this guy should resign for cowardice alone.
And how does Brown manage to punch him square on the right side of Wilson's face.
And what about these injuries makes you think the cop is credible when he says he felt like the next punch could have been fatal? And if he was so scared ,why was he so eager to get out of his car to chase Michael Brown and not have any problem following him so closely. And yet, this "demon" Brown felt the need to flee at one point? Why would a guy who wsa so crazed that he was willing to charge Wilson later on would even flee in the first place? Wouldn't finishing off Wilson be easier while he was still in the SUV compared to charging a cop standing stable with a gun in an open street? Why would Brown be so scared to flee when he had the cop almost out for the count as the cop likes to make it seem but then go for certain death later on?
When you are a white guy, even a minor punch can create that redness. It's like these guys decided to examine all the evidence and then tailor their testimony to the maximum they could get away with after the fact. I wouldn't even put it past these guys to have a buddy punch his face afterwards and create even more redness. Even if they didn't do that, how can you trust this police department which didn't bother to file a police report right away.
