Does anybody know what happened? In Ferguson, I mean. I'm not being flippant. I'm confused. This is all I know to be true- a young, unarmed black man was shot to death by a white police officer. I know that it has happened too many times. But, for now, I'd like to focus on this particular instance and ask, "What Happened?"
Does anybody know how many times Officer Wilson fired his weapon? Did he fire while Michael Brown was on his knees? Does anybody know if this officer knew about the robbery? Initial reports were that he was not responding to it. Was there actually a robbery? I've seen clips of video showing Brown shoving (beating up, really?) a smaller individual, but I've heard different things about what the video actually shows. Does anybody know?
How did Officer Wilson obtain his injuries? There are photographs supposedly taken (at a hospital or the precinct?) showing his injuries, but there is a video of him supposedly that same day without those injuries. Are there actually eyewitnesses who back the police version of the story. Why has nobody heard this before? Why haven't they spoken to the media? I'm sure there are many questions about how this was handled that could go below a fold. I just want to know what happened- what really happened on that one of far too many tragic days in America. Does anybody know?
