Photos from a recent visit to the Save Our Seabirds Rescue center in Sarasota, Florida. They rescue and rehabilitate wild birds that have been injured. It unfortunately had most of the species commonly seen in the area, and many of them were not releasable to the wild (most with wing injuries--in some of the photos you can see the wing droop).
