It looks like this story is organic! Sue is receiving cards from around the world and Baby has her very own Facebook group, numbering over one hundred people. Sue is amazed and happy that Baby has her own FB page!
And the wonderful woman who began all of this has not been idle for two minutes. Leap the squiggle to find out more.
A second visit to Hospice was orchestrated for Baby to spend time with Sue. Much purring and cuddling went on.
Sue is now reading books on her gently used and donated Kindle, thanks to this amazing woman who has helped so much. She had a fundraiser to allow Sue to purchase Kindle books to read.
Cards are literally coming in from all over the world.
The other residents of the facility are getting into the act, opening doors for the Baby visits. The woman leading the effort noticed they had few visitors and no Christmas decorations so today flowers, Chritsmasy ones, were delivered to all the residents from Baby's FB group.
The most important development, The Most Important, is that Baby is going to remain with the local foster for awhile longer so Sue and she, I thought Baby was a he at first, can spend time together. The transport group and adopter, in another state, totally support this.
Baby is doing very well and Sue... she said the other day, "I should die more often".
I'll keep you updated.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Blessed Kwansaa, Blessed Solstice.
