It seems like forever. Aids have been in America since 1969. No one named the disease
until years later.
I have lost friends to this disease. In Seattle the Bailey-Bouschey opened in 1992. It was ten years after aids became a household name. This house was
Where you came to die if you had full blown Aids. The love, holding and tears of this house
still brings tears to my eyes.
Over a million meals later, the house still serve as a place for hope and continued living in 2014.Aids is slowly becoming like Diabetes, no cure yet but pills can keep you
alive a long time.
The number of full-blown cases of Aids has gone down. The sad thing young people
Are being infected at a higher rate than before.Young people were not around when Aids
became a known killer.Maybe it's because people live longer now.Maybe it's not talked
about as much now. To live longer with HIV and Aids means you take pills as
long as you live.
l It's better than death but still is a hassle. I don't have Aids, but still take over 20 pills a day.You don't need that many anymore, but diet is important and your system can catch other diseases easier.
HIV is the virus that can lead to Aids. Young, poor African American
men are the highest risk group. It's important that a new series of advertising start
Now to educate young people about HIV and aAids. Memory can run
short and people still die from Aids. If you know someone or have
A loved one, remind them safe sex is still a must. Life is too precious
to die unnecessarily.
Some day a cure will be found for Aids, Diabetes and Cancer .A type 1 diabetic
Needs to take 3 or more shots a day. My son has been doing that for 22 years.
I am not aware you need to take a shot for Aids.
The media is trying to tell young people about HIV and Aids.. We
must join the effort.
-Give a child love,laughter,
and peace, not AIDS.
