Come oh come ye tea-thirsty restless ones -- the kettle boils, bubbles and sings, musically. ~ Rabindranath Tagore
Good evening, Kibitzers! Today is Keith Olbermann's birthday. I miss being able to see his daily political commentary, but luckily for us, there is YouTube, so we can still replay some of our favorites. I've posted a couple below the fold, and I hope you'll add others in the thread. Happy birthday, Keith! Thanks for speaking up for our side!
There were a lot of great Special Comments from Countdown in which deserving parties got yelled at, but this one is different, and my favorite.
I love James Thurber; my dad used to read him to me when I was very small. So I loved the Friday Thurber readings. The Admiral on the Wheel is a story I identified with most of my life -- I was never as near blindness as Thurber, but I was nearsighted enough to see some interesting things...
I'll stick to these two for now, because too many YouTubes make a diary hard for some readers to open, and I suspect you guys might be posting more. You know you want to!

Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share part of the evening around a virtual kitchen table with kossacks who are caring and supportive of one another. So bring your stories, jokes, photos, funny pics, music, and interesting videos, as well as links—including quotations—to diaries, news stories, and books that you think this community would appreciate. Readers may notice that most who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but newcomers should not feel excluded. We welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well.
