A pet peeve on my part, but here goes. I watched the footage on Huffington Post this morning when an unarmed homeless man was shot repeatedly and killed while several LA police officers stood by as their colleague did the deed.
I wanted to comment in writing about what I had just observed but Huffington Post a.) insists that I be logged in via Facebook; and b.) has no provision for any other direct line to those at Huffington Post who supervise their news operation.
Facebook is the plaything of the National Security Agency whatever Facebook's protestations to the contrary and I'm unwilling to express criticism of law enforcement when I know beyond doubt that some beady-eyed apparatchik at NSA can set the dogs on me for presumably being a nascent terrorist.
I could be disappeared as was frequently the case in Argentina and elsewhere south of our border. This is standard fascist practice and quite the growth industry in these United States.
Or simply killed out of hand like the poor devil in Moscow.
Pity the young who will have to live through these future times.
