And that is my prediction,
and Hillary will win.
But if the Republicans win,
I want them to win with Jeb.
I explain, below the divider doodle.
I could be wrong,
but it seems to me,
in the world of
CEOs,
Prime Ministers,
Generals,
Secretaries of State,
Secretaries of Defense,
and Commanders-in-Chief,
in any big country,
it's not what you know,
it's who you know.
It's who you know.
I mean,
can you make a phone call,
and get the latest intelligence,
the latest satellite view,
the latest report from spies on the ground,
for anywhere on planet Earth?
Do you know who to call?
Is there someone in your immediate family,
or circle of very close friends,
who can give you the names and phone numbers,
so that you can call,
and find out what you need to know,
what you need to know in order to make decisions,
decisions from the Oval Office,
as Commander in Chief?
I know,
if you have no such names and numbers,
no such information,
but get elected President of the United States of America,
there are people who will give you briefings.
Briefings?
Briefings,
on Inauguration Day?
You want a President who starts learning
what she or he needs to know,
starts learning these things on Inauguration Day?
Are you sure?
I don't.
Jeb has his brother,
and his father.
I know,
none of us here like Jeb's brother.
But what about his father?

After the war, Bush attended Yale University, where he graduated with a degree in economics in 1948. He later moved to Midland, Texas, where he found success in the oil and petroleum industry.
Those of you who know me,
you know I keep harping on the facts:
all oil wells run dry,
they will all be past peak production,
sometime around 2035,
and not enough oil
means not enough diesel fuel for American farmers,
means not enough food,
means at least 300 million Americans
starved and dead.
In the face of all that,
involving oil,
if the Republicans win this,
it would not hurt to have a President
who has a father
who knows who to call,
regarding the oil industry.
Remember the Deepwater Horizon accident?
During the ordeal of trying to deal with the big oil spill,
I learned from our very own Fishgrease,
that neither
President Obama,
nor Admiral Thad Allen,
know anything about oil wells.
I worked on an oil rig,
for about six months,
back in the 1970's.
I wonder if I understand
the basics of drilling for oil
better than
President Obama
or Thad Allen.
I want Hillary,
and I think we will get Hillary,
as our next President.
But,
if the Republicans win,
they can at least give us a President
who understands oil wells.
Someone who can get the phone numbers,
from his father,
phone numbers of those who understand oil wells.
Anyway.
he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, ultimately serving two terms. Bush was later appointed to several important positions, including U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in 1971, head of the Republican National Committee during the Watergate scandal, U.S. envoy to China, and director of the Central Intelligence Agency in 1976.
China is the largest country,
in population,
and very important,
a factor in every decision a President will make.
And the CIA
has information,
spies on the ground,
and satellite images,
of every part of the world.
Maybe Jeb can ask his father
for the names and phone numbers he can call,
to get the information he would need,
as Commander-in-Chief.
Bush finally reached the White House's top seat in 1989; he won the 1988 election against Democratic nominee Michael Dukakis, becoming the first sitting vice president to be elected president since 1837.
And, of course,
actually serving as President
might mean that Jeb's father
might have many names and numbers
that Jeb can call.
During his presidency, Bush skillfully handled foreign affairs during a tumultuous time for the nation. Just months into his first term, he responded to the dissolve of the Soviet Union and oversaw the U.S. military's removal of Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega from power. Not long after, Bush responded to then Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait (August 1990), creating a national coalition and leading a military strike to drive Hussein out of the oil-rich country. Bush's handling of the invasion in Kuwait is largely viewed as his greatest presidential success.
I remember wondering,
at the time,
why did President George Herbert Walker Bush
just chase Saddam's military
out of Kuwait,
but did not completely invade Iraq?
The extremely high cost,
in dollars and human lives,
the high cost of the full invasion of Iraq,
ordered by the younger Bush,
that is my answer.
After Dubya,
Jeb's father looks pretty good,
in retrospect.
Now,
for my reasons I want Hillary,
as the nominee for our side:

Hillary joined the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock and, in 1977, was appointed to part-time chairman of the Legal Services Corporation by President Carter. As first lady of Arkansas for a dozen years (1979–1981, 1983–1992), she chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee, co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, and served on the boards of the Arkansas Children's Hospital, Legal Services and the Children's Defense Fund. She also served on the boards of TCBY and Wal-Mart. In 1988 and 1991, The National Law Journal named her one of the 100 most powerful lawyers in America.
One of the most powerful lawyers in America.
And I work at a Walmart.
http://stock.walmart.com/...
When I started working at a Walmart store, Walmart stock was about $50 a share.
It's now about $80 a share.
The last company in America to die,
will be Walmart.
As long as anyone is America has any money to spend,
Walmart will be busy,
putting items on the shelves,
putting a price tag nearby,
and dealing with the customers pouring in the doors.
Taking the money from the pockets of the customers.
Hillary served on the board of Walmart,
so she may have some of those names and phone numbers,
so she can make the calls she may need to make,
to understand the latest information
about the biggest company in the world,
which might help in making decisions about the economy.
She took a leading role in an attempt at health care reform,
that failed,
as you all know.
Then:
Despite this failure, Hillary's involvement deepened her interest in health care, and combining her new-found experience with her past work involving child- and family-advocacy groups she championed a number of related causes. In 1997 she was influential in the creation creation of the Children's Health Insurance Program, which provided state funding for children whose parents could not afford to pay for their health care, and she was also instrumental in the passing of the Adoption and Safe Families Act, a series of reforms aimed at American adoption and foster-care systems.
Hillary also used her influence as first lady to support various women's causes. Working with then attorney general Janet Reno, in 1995 she helped create the Violence Against Women office in Department of Justice, and working with then secretary of state Madeline Albright she traveled extensively to nations around the world to promote equal rights for women.
All this points out the basic nurturing nature
of the human female,
in the hands of a woman who feels she can change the world.
A woman who feels she can change the world.
With her husband limited to two terms in the White House, Hillary Clinton decided she would seek the U.S. Senate seat from New York, held by outgoing Democrat Daniel Patrick Moynihan, who was retiring after four terms. Despite early problems, and charges of carpet bagging, Clinton beat popular Republican Rick Lazio by a surprisingly wide margin: 55 percent to 43 percent. When she was sworn in on January 3, 2001, Clinton became the first wife of a president to seek and win national office and the first woman to be elected to the U.S. Senate from New York. During her first term, she picked up where she left off, devoting her efforts to health care and children's and women's rights. in 2003, she also published a best-selling memoir, Living History.
She picked up where she left off,

Shortly after winning the U.S. presidential election, Barack Obama nominated Hillary Clinton as secretary of state. She accepted the nomination and was officially approved by the Senate as the 67th U.S. secretary of state on January 21, 2009.
During her tenure as secretary of state, Clinton used her position to make women's rights and human rights a central talking point of U.S. initiatives. She became one of the most traveled secretaries of state in American history and promoted the use of social media to convey the country's positions.
Clinton also led U.S. diplomatic efforts around the world, including during the Arab Spring and the 2011 military intervention in the Libyan Civil War. In the fight against terrorism, she was a strong supporter of President Obama in his decisions regarding military support for Afghanistan, and also for the use of American special forces in the assassination of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
Once again,
I think Hillary knows some names and phone numbers,
so she can make a few calls,
and catch up on the latest,
the latest things going on,
everywhere in the world.
Everywhere.
I want a President
who knows what's going on.
I know,
many of you hate the policy stance of Hillary,
and you truly don't want her as our President.
I recognize that.
I'm not trying to make you angry.
And,
believe it or not,
my writing style is not designed to make these words
harder to read,
but to make these words
easier to read.
Easier to read.
And,
to all of you who have read this far,
thanks for reading.
