Many of these institutions are the so-called "too big to fail" or "too big to jail" corporations that received billions of dollars in taxpayer money and are still allowed to break the law with impunity.
We now have a presidential candidate who is saying that any bank too big to fail is too big to exist. It's not an extreme position. It's a moral and patriotic position that was once espoused by one of the greatest presidents this nation has ever seen.
I'm supporting and voting for Bernie Sanders because I want to know what it's like to have someone in power who isn't frightened of these criminals, but openly calls for their abolition. I want to know what it's like to wake up to headlines like this. I want to know what it's like to have a voice in the White House.
