Lots of Democratic caucus folks were attracted to the "Two Americas" theme. And lots of folks deeply opposed to Bush's war in Iraq. If Edwards hadn't been running, and Dean had been an economic populist, perhaps he'd have had a much better chance of beating Kerry.
If Hillary's economic populism themes can come across as authentic, and folks who were very opposed to the Iraq War in 2004 will, 11 years later, forgive her for not voting against the AUMF, this will bode well for her.
Otherwise, these two swaths of voters bode well for Bernie.
