Topeka, KS is often considered the home of the integration movement. Brown Vs the Board of Education came from Topeka, KS. Over the last two days, a series of fliers has turned up around the city promoting a KKK organization offering a 'neighborhood watch'
These fliers and letters that were distributed in primarily white neighborhoods and spoke directly to racial issues. With headlines like "Warning for White Americans" the fliers proposed that the KKK will be active in the neighborhood watch.
The flyer in question reads:
"The recent rise in black on white violent crime has dramatically increased since the "not guilty" verdict was issued for George Zimmerman who shot Trayvon Martin in self defense during February of last year. White Americans need to be more aware of their surroundings than ever, and contact law-enforcement officials if they suspect problems in or around their homes and neighborhoods. Don't be afraid to ask for more patrols. Also, ask your police officials for their advice and help in organizing neighborhood watch groups. If you do not have faith in your local law-enforcement to provide adequate protection, or even if you do, exercise your 2nd amendment rights and legally obtain a firearm for self protection, and get training on how to use it properly. Then apply for your concealed carry permit if your state and local laws allow it. If we as a people take no action to protect ourselves, the list of victims will continue to grow.
The reason why I print it in full is the contrast of what is being presented. Run to police as your first call, but get a gun as a backup.
The flier also seems to be written in a way that makes it available to print in multiple states and municipalities.
Are KKK fliers in your communities future?
