OK, it's been a big celebratory news day. Here' another little tidbit to add to the news overload of the day.
Bristol Palin is pregnant with her second child, and she's not married.
Surprisingly, Mama Grizzly Sarah Palin hasn't mentioned a word about this pregnancy on her very prolific Facebook account, where she rails on with her ridiculous word-salad against all things she disagrees with. Palin hasn't even bothered to respond to today's Supreme Court decision. Maybe she has a furball, or maybe her keyboard isn't working today....or maybe she's in mourning because the FOX Nutwork fired her this week.
I know its not breaking news, I just find it hysterically funny that the Palin's can't live up to the expectations they have for "everybody" else. Keeping in mind that Sarah Palin was herself knocked up before marriage, her son's wife was knocked up before marriage and now "little Miss Abstinence" is knocked up for the second time before marriage....and she "doesn't want any lectures", but she is more than happy to do the lecturing, right? It's all about the hypocrisy. Oh! Bristol doesn't want any lectures, but she was very happy to do all the lecturing.
Baby on board! Bristol Palin revealed some big news on Thursday, June 25:
She's pregnant with her second child.
The Alaska native -- already mom to son Tripp, 6, from her relationship with ex Levi Johnston -- announced the news in a blog post "sooner than [she] ever expected due to the constant trolls who have nothing better to talk about." She did not specify how far along she is or name the father.
"Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one," Sarah Palin's daughter, 24, wrote in her post. "At the end of the day there's nothing I can't do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace."
Bristol was due to marry Marine Dakota Meyer in late May but canceled her Memorial Day weekend wedding about a week before. "I know God's plan is greater than anything else," she wrote at the time, "and Tripp and I are in Alaska beginning to rebuild our lives under much different circumstances than we anticipated."
Those circumstances now include the Dancing With the Stars alum's pregnancy. "Life moves on no matter what. So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up," she blogged on June 25. "When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher."
Bristol also preemptively addressed her critics in the post, writing, "I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect Tripp's and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."

but...but...but....
As Bristol Palin prepares to battle her ex-lover for custody of their child, the 19-year-old did not take up Oprah Winfrey's offer to "retract" a recent pledge to not have sex again until she gets married.
Palin, the daughter of former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, became pregnant while still a high school student and has become a vocal advocate for teaching teenagers that they should practice abstinence rather than safe sex to avoid becoming pregnant.
Winfrey told Bristol she "kind of bristled" when she learned the teen recently told In Touch magazine, "I'm not going to have sex until I'm married. I can guarantee it" and wondered if such a promise was "realistic."
The talk show host told the teen mom, who appeared on Winfrey's show alongside her mother, the former Alaska governor, that she was likely setting herself up to fail and asked if she regretted making such an absolute pronouncement.
"Why set yourself up that way? It may be 10 years before you get married. Why set yourself up so that everybody you go out with, you date -- the media is going to be looking at that person, trying to get that person to sell you out, to say, 'Did you have sex or not,'" said Winfrey. "It's nobody's business when you chose to have sex."
Bristol gave short answers to Winfrey's queries, saying, "No, I don't," to a question about whether she felt she was setting herself up to fail at keeping her abstinence pledge.
"I'm just wondering if that's a realistic goal," said Winfrey.
"It's a realistic goal for myself," replied Bristol.
Winfrey told Bristol she was "going to give you a chance to retract or ease that statement if you wanted to and not say categorically, 'I'll never have sex until I'm married.' But if you want to hold to that, may the powers be with you. So you're going to hold to that?"
But before Bristol could answer, Sarah Palin asked a surprising follow-up question.
"Does that mean you're going to marry pretty young?"
Bristol mumbled a response: "I don't know, Mom."

more money down the drain......
Even before it was revealed that Candies Foundation paid Bristol Palin $262,500 to be its abstinence ambassador, her campaign against teen pregnancy was a farce. The Candies Foundation exists, in the words of its 990 form, “To educate America’s youth about the devastating consequences of teen pregnancy through celebrity PSA campaigns and initiatives.” Palin, a young woman whose unplanned pregnancy has rocketed her to reality star fame, could scarcely be a worse spokesperson. Everything about her and her celebrity telegraphs the message, already distressingly prevalent in this country, that pregnancy offers a way to trade boring high school anonymity for attention and adoration.

So can the Palin's just fade away now? Can they just stop telling everybody how they should live their lives? Probably not, Sarah Palin and Bristol Palin appear as clueless and as hypocritical as we all know them to be...and they'll never give up the chance to be in the spotlight even if it brings great embarrassment to themselves and their "families"...
