Since the 4th of July is the birthday of the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT, I decided to put in a request, for all the good it will do me or you.
I should have done this 2 years ago when I first learned about the TPP, but better late than never I guess.
I also asked for the information to be made either without or for minimal costs to me.
More historical information can be found here:

Celebrating FOIA on Independence Day

To put in your own FOIA request:

Follow me below the orange chaos to find out what I wrote. It probably could have been worded better, but I'm just a former auto worker, not a rocket scientist.

request named: TPP, T-TIP, TAA, and all other treaties in the works or in the past that
have not been made public
project named: Peoples right to know what is in treaties before they are signed

The complete texts of all treaties that are currently being negotiated, including TAA,
T-TIP, TPP, and of all the texts of any other treaties that have not yet been made public.
Also the names and associations of all of the negotiators that have had either a major
or minor hand in negotiations. Also include the complete treatise and laws in regard to
the ISDS, and ALL of the rules that apply to that body.
The public at large deserves to know what is being done in their name, and to them in
the form of future possible liabilities that the public will have to pay for through the
loss of jobs, social service reductions, taxes and fees that are raised by this government.
It has been widely reported that only lobbyists for corporations have a seat at the table
in current negotiations.
This is totally unacceptable.
The job of the Federal government is to protect ALL of its citizens, and not just a select
few international corporations and billionaires.
I would like the records sent in digital and thumbdrive format to my address of record.
All records must be immediately posted on the Whitehouse.gov, Thomas.gov, and C-
Span websites.
None of the information is to be redacted.
Treaties that are done in the public's name without the public's full knowledge.
Anything that can cause harm to the public, no matter how minor, should be
completely transparent in its negotiation and execution.
If the public is on the hook for extra costs of goods, services, taxes, fees, job loss, and
litigation, the public should receive immediate and full disclosure of any and all
treaties, bills, resolutions, and executive orders that either will or may affect any
member of the public.
Every citizen deserves to know what government is doing in their name. Without total
transparency in government, the public becomes blind pawns in a dangerous
international game of one upmanship. The public deserves a better government that
will protect the general public's interests, and not just the interests of a select few.
TPP has already been fast tracked and without prompt release of information before the
president signs the treaty, all public discourse and ability to stop it will be lost.
Dear FOIA Officer:

Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
linda meyer
