Hey y'all, guess what Dinesh D'Souza just did?
He sunk the GOP for good in 2016 by making certain the Confederate flag will remain an issue:
... he focused on circulating a fake image of Hillary Clinton photographed with a Confederate flag.
"Look closely at this Hillary photo; isn't that a Confederate flag behind her on the bookshelf?" D'Souza tweeted, above a black and white photo showing a young Clinton with a Confederate flag displayed nearby.
The image was almost immediately debunked as a doctored version of a Getty photo taken of Clinton while she was a student at Wellesley, in which no such flag appears.

Oops, or Doh! - take your pick. D'Souza tips the GOP hand - they recognize they are in a tough spot with potential images and videos of GOP pols with the Confederate flag, so what do they try to do? Play false equivalency, but by acknowledging being seen with the flag is radioactive, and by ham-fisting their response with a dubious photoshop of Clinton, they've invited a double dose of trouble for themselves.
For example, D'Souza just opened the book to all sorts of Confederate flag pictures and vidoes containing GOP politicians, like Mike Huckabee and Ted Nugent and Ted Nugent and ...
The more intriguing question, just now starting to be voiced on the right, is why are viable Republican politicians allowing him to get this exposure? This is what conservative columnist Richard Greene would very much like to know:"Since Abbott is ahead in the polls and already assured of getting the votes from Texans who like the plainspoken country music rocker, you have to wonder why he took the risk that landed him in hot water last week.
Most speculate that the attorney general’s strategy was to pump up his core supporters. I’m uncertain if that outcome has been achieved, but it sure seems to have handed Davis a welcome opportunity to rally hers."
There must be more than just pictures of Nugent and the Confederate flag with GOP politicians out there.
I am going to go out on a limb and speculate that there are a lot of Confederate flag images and videos related to pro gun rallies, supporters and politicians, and Dinesh just announced open season on finding GOP pols in compromising positions with the Confederate flag.
Doh!
Double doh!
Triple doh!
