The frontrunners. We're laughing too, Hillary.
Here we go again: It may be hilarious, but it's no joke.
Donald Trump is now the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in a new nationwide USA Today/Suffolk poll. At 17%, he's leading Jeb by 3 points and everyone else is in the single digits. Amazing.
This is not the first or even the second poll to show Trump in the lead. There's no telling who will be at the top by the time Iowa rolls around, but for now, The Donald's lead is real, it is sturdy, and it is hilarious. Obviously, there are plenty of reasons to laugh, but a big one is that Hillary beats him in the general election matchups more handily than any other candidate.

This poll has the Republicans doing 6-10 points better against Hillary than the
CNN poll from just two weeks ago - for no apparent reason - and we should expect many more inexplicable fluctuations until the election. But the bottom line remains the same as it's been for months:
The Republicans are in disarray and Hillary is beating them all.
