2:25 pm ET on 7-23-15 -- Durbin staffer confirmed Durbin a definite "yes" vote to allow Iran nuke deal to go forward during my phone call to Durbin.
The Washington Post "whip list" updated this morning showing Senators' current position on the Iran nuclear agreement. Fourteen (14) Republican Senators have said that they will vote against the deal, but only three Senators – Dianne Feinstein, Dick Durbin, and Martin Heinrich – have said that they will definitely vote yes on the agreement.
Confirmed yes (3).
Leaning yes but reserving final judgment (12).
Leaning yes, but hesitant (11).
Purely undecided (8) Bennet (D-CO.), Booker (D-NJ), Coons (D-DE), Cardin (D-MD), Donnelly (D-IN), Flake (R-AZ), Nelson (D-FL), Warner (D-VA).
Leaning no (44) -- 5 of whom are Democrats: Casey (PA), Menendez (NJ), Peters (MI), Schumer (NY), Wyden (OR).
We need at least 34 Senators to vote yes in order to secure a veto-proof majority — and your Senator is key. Anti-diplomacy forces are trying to pressure your Senator to vote against the deal – which is why you must phone in to be clearly heard.
Call your Senator NOW at (202) 224-3121 or (202) 224-3121 and say:
"I urge you to join Sens. Feinstein, Durbin, and Heinrich in publicly stating that you will vote yes on the Iran nuclear agreement."
Anti-diplomacy forces are trying to pressure Sen. Dick Durbin to vote against the deal — which is why Sen. Dick Durbin needs to hear from you. ~~~Words of thanx, appreciation, support & other consistent friendly morale boosting will help much :) Thank You for your courageous stand, Senator Durbin!
When you have made your call, please report it here.
You can sign the petition to Democrats in support of the deal here.
Thanks for all you do to defend diplomacy and prevent war.

July 23, 2015 (C-SPAN) "Iran Nuclear Agreement" Secretary of State John Kerry, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew testify to Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearing about the details of the recently signed nuclear agreement with Iran and its enforcement. Round 1 questioning was 7 minutes per questioner among whom outstanding were Chris Murphy (Leaning yes, reserving final judgment) and Chris Coons (Purely undecided). Kerry & Moniz were brilliant.
