Planned Parenthood supporters marching to protect their rights
Let's hope there is a criminal investigation here
immediately:
Late Sunday night, a group of hackers who oppose the healthcare nonprofit's abortion practices released Planned Parenthood's website databases as well as names and email addresses of the organization's employees.
One of the hackers explained his/her motivation to The Daily Dolt:
“Trying to mold an atrocious monstrosity into socially acceptable behaviors is repulsive,” said E. “Obviously what [Planned Parenthood] does is a very ominous practice. It'll be interesting to see what surfaces when [Planned Parenthood] is stripped naked and exposed to the public.”
Interesting a hacker would use the words "stripped naked and exposed to the public" when talking about an organization that provides medical services primarily to women.
Given the extreme dangers many Planned Parenthood employees and doctors face, including being gunned down in their own church, the release of private information on employees could have very real and potentially life-threatening repercussions. If there has been a breach, let's hope a criminal investigation is already underway.
