Are you kidding me?
Furthermore, Sanders' mostly white, mostly male, mostly highly educated supporters aren't exactly the kind that historically sit outside the gate.
I'm one of those white males out their that have a long history of supporting progressive candidates my whole life, as well as progressive causes, taking on the GOP over civil rights, immigration, climate change, poverty, income inequality, and most importantly to me, voting rights, and especially voter suppression laws to limit minorities, the elderly and the working class from exercising their right to vote.
To reduce those of us who are white males who support Sanders and try to make it sound as though we are part of the mostly white, male upper middle class Tea Party movement was both insulting, insensitive and shows how tone deaf you have become.
As a gay, white male supporting Sanders, you have discounted all the shit I have had to deal with in my lifetime, and stereotyping me in a way that you call out others for. I am not upper middle class, I have to work to support myself. But if white males with money bug you, I await your diary criticizing all those rich, white males out there who have already maxed out their contributions to Hillary Clinton.
P.S. You need to read Scandalous One's diary titled "Thank God for White Liberals" to get yourself up to speed on how liberal white voters have kept the GOP out of the White House. Clearly it takes a village - women, minortiy voters, LBGT, white liberals, etc., to keep our coalition winning national elections.
