Former RNC chair Michael Steele Monday gave a glimpse of just how problematic Trump's continued strength is for the other GOP hopefuls.
"I know the RNC is apoplectic at this point because they know what happens come September—post Labor Day. You are three and a half, four months away from Iowa and those other candidates need to begin to build momentum and it's just not happening."

Reuters/Ipsos poll (among others) showed that while Trump continues to dominate the field at 24 percent support among GOP voters, Jeb! has lost ground.
(Trump's) closest rival, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, trails at 12 percent, down from 17 percent before the debate.
