Tamara Dominguez of Kansas City was 36. Saturday morning witnesses observed Tamara get out of a black SUV, which was identified as a Chevy Avalanche, in a church parking lot. As Tamara walked away from the vehicle, the driver hit her with the car. The driver then proceeded to run over Tamara two times. Tamara was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Tamara's brother Alberto made a statement, which was translated by Tamara's friend Juan Rendon.
He just wanted to say to the person that did that to her that he would forgive them for what he did to her and he hopes that he can forget what he did.
We are not here to judge nobody and he hopes that person really feels bad for what they did.
We understand that maybe they [Dominguez and the driver] were arguing, but it's not fair for what he did. It ain't fair.
He doesn't know she has family. She had her mom. She had her nephews, brothers, and sisters that person didn't think about what he did.

A
GoFundMe page has been set up in an attempt to raise funeral expenses and to send her body to her family in Mexico.
Family and friends have been laying flowers at the site of the crime.
KC police of course both misgendered her and identified her by her birth name. It is said they are trying to determine if this was a hate crime.
