The Wichita Chamber of Commerce has announced that Charles Koch will deliver the official address to their body on November 2nd. With Ticket prices as high as $125 to hear Mr. Koch speak ($35 general admission) they expect to raise considerable funds and ignite a large number of Kansans eager to hear what Charles Koch has to say.
Attendees may have another reason to attend, though.
Mike O'Neal, former Speaker of the House for the Kansas Republican Party, notes at 4:32 that the Kansas Legislature is actually tricameral; House, Senate, and the Chamber. This isn't that surprising considering O'Neal left the state house and immediately walked into his position as head of the Kansas Chamber.
Now, in Wichita, those who are members of the chamber are getting the chance to hear from their financial guru in person.
Mike O'Neal's comments about the legislature being tricameral make many wonder who represents the leadership of that unelected third body. On November 2nd, the Wichita Chamber appears set to announce the answer to that question.
Charles Koch is expected to appear in order to promote his new book, which will release October 13. Promoting his book, though, is only part of the equation as the meeting will also act as a spike the football moment for the status of leadership in this new third body of government.

Koch's new book, "Good Profit: How Creating Value for Others Built One of the World's Most Successful Companies," was announced on Thursday.
What Koch says in a release from publisher Crown Business is that he hopes the book will give other businesses insight into what he believes is their true role in society, and that by doing so, both the business and society are improved.
Koch is scheduled to be interviewed by a "major national" name, in a back and forth conversation about his book and impact on society as a whole.
The White House has been in a back and forth with the Koch Brothers recently over their projected spending, near a billion dollars for 2016, of political funds aimed to advance their agenda.
Charles Koch is expected to be met with a welcoming audience who will gladly fill out the $1,200 tables to hear him bring them a sermon.
This article had a headline correction 8/31/2015; while the source body was correct, noting this event was being hosted by the Wichita Chamber of Commerce, the headline read "Kansas Chamber", this correction properly reflects who was hosting this event.
