Donald Trump has become the de facto candidate of white supremacist groups. He's got the blessing of
David Duke, and his rallies continue to attract
open racists. You might think this would bother Donald Trump—but only if you
did not know Donald Trump.
When asked how he felt about people like Duke backing him, Trump responded by saying that "everyone" likes him.
"People like me across the board. Everybody likes me," Trump said, citing the poll from Public Policy Polling released Tuesday.
Hey, he can't help it if racists are flocking to his campaign. He's just giving speeches about immigrants being drug dealers and rapists and releasing policy proposals to round up and deport every last undocumented American resident and stripping citizenship from their children so that we can deport them too. What happens, happens.
He's running circles around the rest of the Republican field, you know. I don't know that everyone likes him, but the Republican base likes him a lot.
