As the only official advisory group established under congress to advise Secretary of Interior Jewell (USFWS, Parks, USGS, BLM) and Sec of Agriculture Vilsack (Forest Service) on issues related to wildlife and hunting, the Wildlife and Hunting Heritage Conservation Council wields a lot of influence.
Thank You President Obama for establishing the Council back in 2010.
Pew pew pew We got a recreational shooter in the Whitehouse.
Secretary Jewell said "these folks are great and they told me what SS and S stands for, now if hunters could only carry through with the third S" Just kidding he he. Really she said how great and helpful everyone has been. I think most of their work and advice is not real visible or announced on the front pages of newspapers.
