In MSNBC Chokes I took them to task over their lousy coverage of Bernie Sanders. People asked for evidence and I pointed out that he hasn’t appeared on the front page for days.
Right now on MSNBC, here are the stories on the front page:
- Horror grows in truck discovery
- Sarah Palin cries foul
- Can Walker convince on foreign policy
- Tropical Storm Erika kills at least 12
- See the inside of TV shooter’s home
- Court overturns NSA ruling
- Iconic survivor shares her incredible story
- New development in Ashley Madison scandal
- Heartbreaking images from the migrant crisis
- Trump explains his feud with Bush
It’s been days since I’ve seen a single story there about Bernie Sanders, even through he has a better chance of winning the White House than any of the Republicans.
It’s not like their coverage of Sanders is negative. But it’s systematically missing, at least compared with that of other presidential contenders.
If their front page represented what’s important to the country it would look more like this:
- Court overturns NSA ruling
- Tropical Storm Erika kills at least 12
- Heartbreaking images from the migrant crisis
- Story about Bernie Sanders
- Story about Bernie Sanders
- Story about Bernie Sanders
- Story about Bernie Sanders
- Story about Bernie Sanders
- Iconic survivor shares her incredible story
- Horror grows in truck discovery
It looks like MSNBC recently removed the FEEDBACK link from their stories. Apparently, they no longer want feedback from their audience. Perhaps they were hearing the "wrong" thing.
It's easy enough to find good programming if you look around the Web. Maybe there's no hope for MSNBC, but there are still plenty of places to find news.
