I just finished reading David Harris Gershon's http://www.dailykos.com/... diary about the Israeli brutality against the occupied and captive Palestinians.
He hasn't yet told 1/100th of the truth about the cruelty and hatred and bigotry of the Israelis against the Palestinians, especially from the ultra-Orthodox settlers. Somebody needs to remind them of the many passages from the Tanakh (what Christians call the Old Testament) that command us to honor the foreigner. [Edit: I think I really mean Torah here, not all of the Tanakh.]
At the moment I'm finishing an immigration application for a brilliant Palestinian, a young man who is the top expert in the world in an important IT area. He has to prove that he would be persecuted if he returned to his home town in the West Bank, as he is required by law to do unless he can get a waiver.
The evidence is so strong that at one point today I broke down into tears while preparing his photo exhibits. And I'm a rather hard-boiled 60-year-old lawyer.
Almost 100% of the American people have NO IDEA how brutally the Israelis (especially the ultra-Orthodox settlers in the West Bank) are treating their Palestinian neighbors!
As I've argued before (and proved it!), it's a slow genocide. It's the worst such national crime going on anywhere in the world.
And still American politicians, all of them, are afraid to even mildly criticize Israel.
Support the BDS movement!
Smite the Israel-whatever-the-cost defenders!
