U. S. Senator Barbara Boxer ripped GOP Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina on Friday, saying that Fiorina is a “mean-spirited,” failed business leader who cared more about enriching herself than about working Americans.
Boxer, who defeated Carly Fiorina in a nasty fight for Boxer's U. S. Senate seat in 2010, took Fiorina to the woodshed over income inequality and corporate greed:
“Here is a woman who ran against me in the worst year Democrats ever had and we won in a landslide because the people of California didn’t want her to do to the country what she did to Hewlett-Packard,” Boxer said. “She’s the face of income inequality and the face of corporate greed…. She makes Mitt Romney look like a Democrat.”
Boxer said Fiorina enriched herself as the chief of Hewlett-Packard, flying in private planes and buying a yacht as she oversaw the layoff of 30,000 workers, and sent jobs overseas. The senator pointed out that the value of H-P stock dropped sharply before Fiorina was fired.
And who can forget the ad Boxer ran against Fiorina, which decimated Firorina's campaign for Boxer's senate seat in 2010:

Boxer, who admits she was vulnerable in 2010, said Fiorina was slaughtered at the polls "because of her lack of compassion and even caring about working people."
Boxer sent out an email earlier this week to raise money for her PAC, stating she was stunned when Fiorina announced her candidacy for the GOP nomination for president:
“I thought, this is a new definition of chutzpah,” Boxer said. “She hasn’t had a job since she was fired, no one’s hired her, and she has the chutzpah to think with that record that she’s going to be the president of the greatest country in the world and commander in chief?”
You gotta love Barbara Boxer - I am so proud she has been my U. S. Senator since 1992 and I will really miss her.
