As soon as Trump made his comments about Carly Fiorina's looks, it dominated the news cycle for several days:
Trump's expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on Fiorina. "Look at that face!" he cries. "Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?! ... I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?
and then Fiorina's response back to Trump was praised by the media:
I have not seen or read in the news anyone bringing up this 2010 clip when Fiorina ran against Barbara Boxer in the senate race.
This episode with Trump has bothered me in the sense that Fiorina is being such a hypocrite in her shock that someone would mention her looks. It is all so childish and junior high! The reason I posted this is because I was working in the kitchen just now and CNN was holding Fiorina up as the winner of the last debate and as some hero for her smart and brilliant answer back to Trump regarding her looks.
If this has been discussed/posted here at DK, I'll remove this diary but I haven't seen anything.
sort of snark/sort of not
