The Huffington Post and TPM are both reporting that Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rogers was met with hisses and boos at the Washington Ideas Forum:
"I do believe that the work that we're doing in the Benghazi committee is very important," McMorris Rodgers said to boos in the audience. "We've not yet had important questions answered."
As she kept talking, the boos grew louder and people started hissing. Someone even shouted, "You're lying!"
If you want to read her full blah-blah-blah in praise of the Benghaziiiii Brouhaha, please go to the links. Otherwise, just enjoy how some, as yet unnamed but decent citizens responded to her craven defense of government abuse of power.
Host of the forum, ABC's Jonathan Karl tried to stop the booing by chiding the audience with ""Show some respect for our guests here."
Please, let there be more booing and hissing whenever a Republican steps on stage to defend the use of our government to hunt down its political enemies.
