Several news outlets are reporting that John Ellis Bush (aka Jeb(!)) will bring his brother George Walker Bush out on the campaign trail, as his presidential prospects sink like an Italian oceanliner.
With Jeb Bush struggling to connect with some Republican activists, his campaign has begun exploring whether to bring in the person it thinks may be best equipped to give him a boost with skeptical conservatives: his brother George W. Bush.
What happened to "you need to be willing to lose the primary to win the general?" He remembers what happened to John McCain in 2008 right? Or the fact that the legacy of a Republican President (W.) has to be heavily debated at the Ronald Reagan Library Debate of a few weeks ago, right? If he's thinking W. will help his campaign win the primary, then it will surely sink him in the general, given Obama's increasing approval ratings, and the common trend that politicians' favorability numbers (which Jeb touts among GOPers) go down when they campaign (it happened even to Bill Clinton in 2008 when he was involved with Hillary's first presidential bid). Thing is Clinton had and has higher job approvals both in the end of his term and retrospective than Dubya.
Jeb and George (W. Bush)!
George!
I love to see a Bush lose, like Jeb's probably gonna in the primary, tho I'm starting to think he'd be very easy to beat if he were to get the nomination, perhaps easier than Trump or Carson. But either way, Bushes suffer, We, the American People,
win.
Remember the Iraq War, on which we've spent trillions, tax cuts for the ultra-rich, the late term abortion ban of 2003? And so much more where those came from.
