Quinnipac's latest poll out of Florida is promising but it's also an odd one:

Florida voters are now overwhelmingly in favor of medical marijuana and a majority are even in favor of legalizing recreational marijuana, a new Quinnipiac University poll has found.
That poll also finds that the two Democrats seeking to run for the U.S. Senate, U.S. Reps. Patrick Murphy and Alan Grayson, both lead both of the two top Republican contenders, U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis and Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera, in hypothetical match ups.
Yet all the Senate match ups are relatively close and weighed down by large numbers of voters who have not made up their minds.
Murphy and Grayson appeared well in the U.S. Senate race. Murphy, a Democrat from Jupiter, leads Lopez-Cantera by a spread of 37 percent to 29 percent, and leads DeSantis, a Republican from Ponte Vedra Beach, by 37 to 30.
Grayson, a Democrat from Orlando, leads Lopez-Cantera 35 to 32, and DeSantis 37 to 31. - Orlando Sentinel, 10/8/15
The reason why this poll is so bizarre is because it doesn't test Murphy or Grayson against Rep. David Jolly (R. FL). Not sure why he was omitted from this poll. But it is clear Team Blue has a real chance to retake this seat. It remains to be seen which Democrat will become our nominee. Stay tuned.
