Well:
Protesters started to gather at the airport Friday morning for President Barack Obama's arrival.
Obama plans to meet privately with families of victims of the Umpqua Community College shooting.
Signs told him to go home. Because visiting with the families of the victims of another horrific gun massacre is bad.
He has no public appearances scheduled for the trip.
No public appearances. Private meetings with traumatized families of victims. That's what they're telling him not to do.
After last Thursday's shooting at the college, Obama renewed his call for tougher gun laws.
Which means it's not his place to care for the victims of gun violence and their families.
The group that organized the protest told people to bring "water, snacks, and firearms if they feel the need to, but only handguns and to keep them holstered." Because with Obama invading to talk to the families of victims of gun violence, Roseburg needs to be defended.
"Show the world that American gun owners are responsible patriots," a post by the group reads.
Too late.
