Loose lips McCarthy sinking the Rethug's ship, let it slip the only reason they began the Benghazi investigation, for how many times now, was to keep it out there, somehow Hillary was guilty of something and we need to drag down her numbers.
As Kevin McCarthy had noted, when speaking in an interview, somehow, Hillary's popularity went down, when they began the Benghazi investigation again. They weren't satisfied with all the other Benghazi investigations not finding anything wrong, with what Hillary had done, regarding the Benghazi attacks, when she was Secretary of State, they had to keep investigating it, to keep it out there, in the media, because somehow, some way, they were going to find her at fault for something. As you know Hillary is "untrustworthy", but somehow all the Rethug's Shenanigans make them so much more "trustworthy"!
Now that the cat's out of the bag, comes the story spinning about what really transpired. Seems there was a staff member of the Benghazi investigations, who got fired, who said he was upset about them centering on Hillary Clinton, instead of actually investigating what happened in Benghazi.
Investigator Bradley Podliska a major and intelligence officer in the Air Force Reserve, told The Post in a statement on Saturday that the committee trained its sights almost exclusively on Clinton after it came out last March she used a private e-mail server while she was secretary of state.
“My non-partisan investigative work conflicted with the interests of the Republican leadership, who focused their investigation primarily on Secretary Clinton and her aides,” Podliska said in a statement.
In an on-camera interview on CNN on Sunday morning, he said Gowdy’s committee, which has spent $4.6 million over the course of its investigation, pulled resources away from other probes and has pursued a “partisan investigation” focused almost solely on Clinton and the State Department under her four-year tenure.
Trey Gowdy, the chairman of the House committee on Benghazi struck back Sunday morning at a fired staffer, Bradley Podliska who is accusing the panel of engaging in a partisan probe to tarnish Hillary Rodham Clinton. He said it appeared newly manufactured and the staffer himself was the one obsessed with the presidential candidate.
Chairman Trey Gowdy, has also stated that committee investigator Bradley Podliska never mentioned any concern about Clinton or politics while fighting his dismissal from the committee staff this fall. In his formal complaints, Gowdy said, the investigator had repeatedly asserted only that the committee discriminated against him because he was an Air Force reservist who periodically had to leave his job for reserve duty.
“On September 11th, in his mediation filing, this staffer specifically claimed his reserve status as a basis for his termination,” Gowdy said. “I would note first this staffer’s reserve duty was approved both times it was requested.”
Who will the public believe about the true reason for the umpteenth Benghazi hearing. I am sure we all believe our forever truthful Republicans. Let the story spinning begin!
