The Museum of Mountain Flying, located in a large hanger at the Missoula, Montana Internal Airport, is dedicated to the aviation history of the Rocky Mountain West. Like most museums that feature aircraft, the Museum of Mountain Flying also includes displays about local aviation history, smokejumpers, cars and trucks, model airplanes, and airplane engines.

Shown above is an American Liberty V-12 Engine. This engine started production in 1917 for World War I aircraft, such as the de Havilland bomber.
