I request two oaths from Hillary supporters. These should be easy, since they only come into effect if one of two things you think will never happen, happens. Follow beneath where the orange swizzle used to be for more details.
I, (state your name), hereby pledge my support to Hillary Clinton during the Democratic primary. However, in the unlikely event of her failure in the primary, I will not support the Republican candidate over Bernie Sanders. Furthermore, should Hillary win the primary, and in the unlikely event of her losing the general, I shall never mention ‘electability’ again.
There. That’s all there is to it!
The first one is very simple. You see, HRC supporters have a bad habit of supporting Republicans when HRC loses a primary, talking about the actual winner’s birth certificate or his time with Bill Ayers, even seven years after he won the general. I don’t want that this time around. I can say, I won’t do that, but then again, I’m not the one with a record of PUMA-ness.
The second is also simple. You see, Bill Clinton was the only Third Way/DLC/whatever you want to call them candidate who won the general. Ever. That’s...a bad track record, considering there’s only one other serious candidate in the general.
But this oath is probably irrelevant, since your candidate is so far ahead, I mean. But I just want you all on record, in the off chance that Bernie beats Hillary or (God forbid) the GOP does.
