Well, well, a new version of DailyKos. Isn't that nice.
I'm sure DK5 will have countless new features to amaze, expanded functionality to enthrall. And the tech team has proved quite adept at burning in new versions in beta, so I'm confident the transition will be smooth.
But I'm not having it.
Not that these end-of-an-era times haven't been fun. I was quite proud to have the last recommended diary on DK3, which was basically a rockstar-trashing-the-hotel-room party. Good times.
But, damn it, I'm an old man and tired of change. I'm staying right here in DK4.
That's right. Y'all go ahead and enjoy your new site. I'll be here in the old version, doing the Bartleby the scrivener bit, folded into the dark, defunct corner of intertoob limbo with AOL chat and the pets.com sock puppy.
So, go on and sail into your bright, shiny future. I'll be right here.
