‘Put your money where your mouth is,’ so goes the phrase.
If front-running Republican Presidential candidate and standard-bearer Donald Trump’s xenophobia is sincere, he might first look inward, to his properties. Are there Muslims living in Trump properties? Vacationing in his hotels? Golfing on his courses? Swimming in his pools? They’d have big bucks if they are. By his logic, he’d be harboring the kind of ‘radical Islamic terrorism’ against which he rails.
To demonstrate his sincerity, Don might begin his pogrom at home. His supporters would likely fall over themselves contributing to the tattooing, holocaust-style trains to the desert camps, the deportations. Like the rest of his campaign, he’d hardly have to lay out a ¢. Wake up one morning to find the busses and storm troopers lined up outside his properties… his supporters would be ecstatic.
C’mon, Don, are there radical Islamic terrorists — by his definition, every Muslim — hiding out in broad daylight at your properties? How comfortable will any of his wealthy residents and guests be under such public scrutiny, as, one-by-one, Muslims are singled out?
Trump’s Kristallnacht: could there possibly be a more potent terrorism recruiting tool?
