I will NOT defer to three dimensional chess players. I will not relent in my opposition to the tenets of Neoliberal Economists and Neoconservative warmongers. I will ONLY mock and ridicule the insipid, vapid, wholly corrupt and insanely cynical corporate media talking (empty) heads.
There is a reason that this election matters more than any other and there is a REAL reason that the two leading candidates in the race today are anti-establishment figures.
The reason is that the American oligarchic mechanisms of power have been exposed: The inherent falseness of corporate media agendas, the predatory policies of purchased politicians, the bold-faced lies of phony Neoliberal economic talking points and the blatantly evil neoconservative military agenda that supports brutal military dictatorships from Egypt to Guatemala PROVE TO EVERY REASONABLE YOUNG ADULT that there will only be hope in political revolution.
And this is why this needs to be said.
The ideological and physical hold of American imperial power, buttressed by the utopian ideology of neoliberalism and global capitalism, is unraveling. Most, including many of those at the heart of the American empire, recognize that every promise made by the proponents of neoliberalism is a lie. Global wealth, rather than being spread equitably, as neoliberal proponents promised, has been funneled upward into the hands of a rapacious, oligarchic elite, creating vast economic inequality. The working poor, whose unions and rights have been taken from them and whose wages have stagnated or declined over the past 40 years, have been thrust into chronic poverty and underemployment, making their lives one long, stress-ridden emergency. The middle class is evaporating. Cities that once manufactured products and offered factory jobs are boarded-up wastelands. Prisons are overflowing. Corporations have orchestrated the destruction of trade barriers, allowing them to stash $2.1 trillion in profits in overseas banks to avoid paying taxes. And the neoliberal order, despite its promise to build and spread democracy, has hollowed out democratic systems to turn them into corporate leviathans.
Who did Hillary Clinton's daughter (Chelsea) marry?
Oh Yeah! Thats Right (from 2010)
Currently Marc Mezvinsky is an investment banker for Goldman Sachs and makes his home in Manhattan, New York, where he bought a $3.8 million condo last year.
But I digress, there are PLENTY of examples of insipid deals between wall street, neocons and the (wholly) politically corrupt establishment.
For example:
The labels "liberal" and "conservative" are meaningless in the neoliberal order. Political elites, Democrat or Republican, serve the demands of corporations and empire. They are facilitators, along with most of the media and most of academia, of what the political philosopher Sheldon Wolin calls our system of "inverted totalitarianism."
because, yeah, Jimmy Carter:
.
.
"It violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it is just an Oligarchy with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect a president. And the same thing applies to governors and U.S. Senators and congress members. So, now we have seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves once the elections are over."
President Jimmy Carter
But again, I digress:
THIS is what really matters
These neoliberal forces are also rapidly destroying the ecosystem. The Earth has not had this level of climate disruption since 250 million years ago when it underwent the Permian-Triassic extinction, which wiped out perhaps 90 percent of all species. This is a percentage we seem determined to replicate. Global warming is unstoppable, with polar ice caps and glaciers rapidly melting and sea levels certain to rise 10 or more feet within the next few decades, flooding major coastal cities. Mega-droughts are leaving huge patches of the Earth, including parts of Africa and Australia, the west coast of the United States and Canada and the southwest United States, parched and plagued by uncontrollable wildfires. We have lost 7.2 million acres to wildfires nationwide this year, and the Forest Service has so far spent $800 million struggling to control conflagrations in California, Washington, Alaska and other states. The very word "drought" is part of the deception, implying this is somehow reversible.
It isn't
.
. . .
Those of us who seek to create a world that has hope of viability have little time left. The neoliberal order, despoiling the Earth and enslaving the vulnerable, has to be eradicated. This will happen only when we place ourselves in direct opposition to it, when we are willing to engage in the acts of self-sacrifice and sustained revolt that allow us to obstruct and dismantle every aspect of neoliberal machinery.
I believe we can do this through nonviolence. But I am not blind to the inevitable rise of counter violence, caused by the myopia and greed of the neoliberal mandarins. Peace and harmony may not engulf the Earth if we succeed, but if we do not remove the ruling elites from power, if we do not overthrow the neoliberal order, and if we do not do it soon, we are doomed.
Doomed. I am not fucking kidding.
World Must ‘Almost Completely’ Decarbonize In Next 35 Years To Tackle Climate Change
http://cleantechnica.com/...
The warning is based on one of the major findings of the report: that the scientific case behind 2°C as a “safe” level of global warming – a figure that has underpinned climate policies around the globe – is rapidly weakening.
The report – Growing Risks, Critical Choices, released on Tuesday – finds that, compared to four years ago when the Climate Council’s Critical Decade report was published, the risks of climate change now looks more serious at lower levels of warming.
“The scientific underpinning for the 2°C policy target being a ‘safe’ level of climate change is now weaker than it was a decade ago,” the report says.
We have 35 years, IF we start NOW
2:43 PM PT: Small Update,
One of the valid, in my view, criticisms of the IPCC is that in many respects it has been overly conservative in the way that it has stated its conclusions.
. . .
the current trajectory that we are on leads us to conclude that we will be ice free within the next several decades. Nature seems to be on a course that is much faster than the (IPCC) shows.

This interview from June of this year clearly states how the Oligarchy of the Unites States has moved into full blown totalitarianism (inversion vis-a-vis the corporate state)
